Wake Up Call: A Prophetic Word from the Lord

Wake Up Call: A Prophetic Word from the Lord

A Powerful Word from the Lord: His Turn to Ask Questions

I was recently invited to speak at a local ministry. As I prayed about what to share, the Lord led me to a number of questions. Admittedly it sounded strange to me at first, but I continued receiving a download of questions from Him so I obeyed and wrote what I felt He shared with my spirit. It’s funny because usually we are the ones asking questions of God, not the other way around; yet it is Biblical as God asked Job questions too.

Nothing Changes If Nothing Changes: God’s Call for us to Move Forward

You may have heard the phrase “nothing changes if nothing changes.” I believe God is wanting to show us we need to move forward. Many are stuck and continue doing the same things but the time is short and He needs you ready to be mobilized, to take your rightful place. Have you forgotten that you are a kingdom builder?

Overcoming Fear and Doubt: Understanding His Love and Assignment

He said that some of you are stuck in fear and doubt and others have fallen back to sleep. For those in fear (at the moment that happens and you feel immobilized) you are lacking the full understanding of the depth of His love for you and the assignment He has for you to complete. He called you to do it and you will not fail  Psalm 46:5 “God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.”

Remember Who You Are: A Daughter of the One True King

He is calling you to remember who you are, you are my daughter a daughter of the one true king John 1:12  “But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,

So the question is…who do you think you are? How do you identify yourself? Do you operate from a place of peace or fear and insecurity? Have you forgotten that no one can snatch you out of your Father’s hand?

Letting Go of Fear: Embracing Faith Over Law

I believe God is asking you to be honest with yourself. Take time to evaluate where you stand. Let Him shine the light on your life. Let His love and His Holy Spirit illuminate your life and bring light to the areas you have kept hidden. His desire is that you allow Him access to your heart and life so His light will shine bright enough for you to wake up and bright enough for others to see His love.

So His question and message for you…How often do you let fear take over? Aren’t you tired of it? The law brings fear, I, Christ bring faith. The law is about you doing and not allowing me to do it through you.

Encouragement from the Word regarding our Identity in Christ

and Position in Him

Peace truly is about what He has done. You CANNOT do anything to earn His love. If you’ve been feeling fearful or insecure about your position in Christ listen to this…

Eph 1:2-14 (NIV) 2 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love

5 he predestined us for adoption to sonship  through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.

7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace 8 that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding,

9 he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 10 to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.

11 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 12 in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.

13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

I recently heard this quote and it stuck with me because it is a great reminder of where our mindset should be; “We need to pray from the position in which we are seated and not the position we see ourselves in.” When you pray remember you are seated in the heavenlies with Christ

Eph 2:6 “And He raised us up together with Him [when we believed], and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, [because we are] in Christ Jesus,”

And again Eph 1:5 “he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will”

Identifying the Root of Fear: What Are You Afraid Of?

So, I ask again, if position isn’t the reason for your fear, what is? What are you afraid of? Are you afraid of not pleasing me? That makes it about you and it’s never about you, it’s about me, the holy and one true God.

Stop striving and find rest. When you rest in Me you find peace and begin to flow in the rhythm of My Spirit. This avenue will take you to the places you need to be to accomplish the works I have set up in advance for you to do. Stop being afraid of missing it. Let Me direct you.

It may sound like a contradiction “rest in Me and wake up”, but I need you, my church, to continue to wake up. Once again you have become complacent. The initial shock of Covid and such has worn off and some of you are once again lukewarm.

Flowing in the Spirit: Let God Direct Your Path

Let me set your Spirit alive and on fire again by letting My Word change you. In this you will become more like me. I will fashion you and make you into the beautiful creation I had chosen for you and envisioned from the beginning.

What? Are you not open to my discipline, only my love? These words may be hard to hear but are necessary. My love for you is always there and that is why I discipline you. My discipline IS love.

The Call to Wake Up: Overcoming Complacency and Lukewarm Faith

Stop only being fed by outside sources! Feed yourselves. Feed yourself on My Word. Don’t just drink milk but eat the meat of the Word; but you say I do not understand it. Trust my Spirit to illuminate it for you and bring you to understanding and the deeper things in the faith.

Spend time in quiet alone and worship Me. I WILL give you the answers you are searching for, but you must be patient. Just as seeds take time to grow into a plant, to mature, to bear and bring forth fruit your life is much the same.

Fruit that is rushed is lacking in nutrients and flavor. Do not rush ahead of Me. I, and I alone will bring you into each season in the proper time.

Do not be offended by My questions. The only way to grow is if you truly see where you are. You have fallen asleep once again yet I need you to wake up. Wake up and fall into my rhythm of peace, rest and yes, work.

The works, I will give you. Do not walk away from this word and feel discouraged but loved. I am pointing you in the right direction now walk in it.

Watch your speech. The words that come from your mouth will bring either life or death, blessing or curses. Let your words verbally display the attitude of your heart. This message is a heart check.

Praising me raises your level of gratitude and changes your attitude. This is where I want you to be speaking from. Do not speak what you see or feel but only the truth of my word. Trust in me for your situation and know I go before you.

Do not gossip. You may not be happy with the way things are in your government but remember I set up leaders and I bring them down. Be careful of how you speak against them and make coarse jesting remarks.

Keep your speech pure. Eph 5:4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.

*****************

So how do we live our life now? With an attitude of gratitude. One of praise. Eyes focused on Him and not our problem or on someone else’s life but your own knowing He WILL guide us to the finish line.
